Teen says armed robbery was terrifying | News
ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police are trying to identify three suspects who are wanted for robbing a teenager after he got off a Marta bus on February 16, 2014. Marta has provided police a surveillance video of the suspects boarding a bus at the East Point Marta Station.
The teenager, Anterrious Hill, was already on the bus when the three suspects boarded. The video shows the suspects sit down in separate seats around Hill. "They sat closer and closer to me," Hill said. "I started thinking they were up to something."
Hill said he was returning home after visiting his brother in the West End. He took a train from West End to the East Point station and then boarded the bus to his home in Southeast Atlanta.
Hill said he got off the bus at Browns Mill Road and Bromack Road and the three suspects immediately got off the bus behind him. He said he heard them talking, and then they were quiet, and then one of them grabbed him from behind.
"He just went behind me and put me in a head lock and he threw me to the ground saying 'don't move, don't move,'" Hill said. "Then the second boy came and put the gun to my face."
They took his iPhone, iPhone charger, and his Beats headphones. Hill said those items were the least of his worries when they pulled out the gun. "They just pulled the gun out and put it right in my face," Hill said. "It was scary, terrifying."
Hill said he will feel a lot better if the three suspects who attacked him are arrested. Atlanta Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477)
